the 8 inch 2x4 *UPDATE* New CF HOOD 56K maybe? *UPDATE*
So guys I took all of your advice and collected the insurance money and now i got me a brand new vis Invader CF hood. **** is sweet and didnt cost a thing. Thanks for all the support heres some pics
*UPDATE*
aight so im on my way to class, and im late as usual, and im just cruising behind this blue truck. I live out in the country so i didnt really think anything of it. I was psyched because i had just finished installing my progress sway bar, and we all know the feeling of just putting something new on your car is. Pretty much i was feeling good cruising to school when all of a sudden, a 8 inch piece of 2x4 flys out the back for this guys truck, i slow down hoping to avoid it and then, it pops up and bounces off the dead center of my hood. At first i didnt think of a big deal, but the guy pulled over and i got out of my car. I looked at my hood and was like damn......... about a 3 inch ding and scratched paint on my hood, just ticked me off. The guy was cool tho and gave me all of his info. Just needed to vent its been a stressing day. I also work at Starbucks so thats a stressful job. Anywayz thanks for listening maybe ill go take some pics. Its nothing too bad, but it just irritates the hell out of me becasue it shouldnt have happend in the first place.

ouchies. I usually stay a few car lengths away from a vehicle with higher stance than me. or if it is able to carry stuff (even if it looks like nothing's there)
during winter it's horrible. People don't take the time to clean off their car roof so when they're doing 25-45 mph, sheets of ice come flipiing up into the air and landing on the car behind. no one ever stops (no one's nice enough anymore) to see if they did any damage. Because it's just water right?
