college and working sucks but most of us are making it threw and still going all out.. and if u arent in the 13's something is wrong
I made a custom N-tercooler this weekend. DIY style
I bought a used dry NOS kit for $200. Went to HomeDepot and bought a 5' roll of copper tubing for an ice-maker $5. Made a loop with the pipe and drilled extremely small holes using a drill press. I hooked up the N2O switch to my Alch injection switch. When under boost the alch inject and the N2O N-tercooler turn on. I think a small amount of the N2O gets picked up by the air intake as it is pulled through the intercooler After a couple of runs the intercooler was extremely cold to the touch. Under boost it feels like it pulled harder. I live in South Texas were 100 degrees is common in the summers. I am sure it will come in handy during the hot months. I already noticed on a hot day my car does not pull as hard under boost.
After the install my car pulled great. I convinced a friend with an all motor Integra to give me a run. After the run he must have thought that I was spraying into the engine. I took him by at least 3-4 cars. He claims to run low 14's. So I must be in the 13's.
BTW: I am at 11psi on the weekends and 7psi on weekdays.
No problems since I put in the new headgasket and blockguard.

KMS block guard for less than $100, alot of members here say it is ****. but I see it as a little extra insurance on stock internals. My methanol injection- it reduces detonation. Block guards support the top of the cylinder walls from moving under pressure.

damn 10s?
13.99 or faster, u need a snell helmet.
11.99 or faster, full roll cage
battery in trunk, you need a visible switch mounted on the outside of car...
nitrous... need a blow out/dump tube going straight down from the bottle towards the ground, otuside of the car...

Here are my 1/8th mile results running street tires on 17's. I could not launch hard do to wheel spin and had bad 60ft times. But I had to just make up for it with better reaction times. The best run was 9.1 and 9.25. The rest were around 9.3
I guess I will need to get a helmet if I go to a 1/4 mile track. These times were before installing the DIY N-tercooler.

My car ran like crap on Isoprop also. I run pure methanol only. Nothing else touches my car. I think my dyno at 10psi and 220hp proves that methanol works. I think that Catalyst before his PnP head at 8psi was running 186hp. I was also still rich and could have lean it out and gained another 10hp. But I was tunning at a Mustang shop and I have been told richer is safer. I think running rich and using IK24's is a little extra insurance incase the Methanol runs out and I dont know it. Has happened twice already once at 11psi. No problems and the leakless headgasket is holding tight.
I have know there are pros and cons on block guards. I think the good out weights the bad.
I was very pleased with my 8th mile speeds. fastest was 83mph on a couple of runs. I didn't even get traction untill 3rd. So I know I will be smoking in the 1/4.
