2004 WRX STi. . . Been a While. . .
Okay. . . Yeah, I've been hanging out in OT most of this time, but I've also been working on the car, too. So, here a few pictures to get things started. I'll take some more in the next few days of the other modifications.
Exterior:
Recently lowered on Tein Flex coilovers (2.25F & .5R)
Rolling on 18x8" Prodrive PFF7s wrapped in 235/40-18 Bridgestone Potenza RE750s
Cleared the headlights, upgraded highbeam bulbs to Silverstars (STILL look yellow with the HIDs, though)
Upgraded various other bulbs (PIAA front markers and rear plate bulbs, Raybrig red turnsignals in the rear, PIAA backup bulbs)
Moved stock amber signals from rear to front
20% tint
Complete (and then some) Stongard application
Interior:
Full CF a-pillars with dual gauge pods on driver's side
Full CF center gauge pod and air vent bezels
Defi D-Gauges (Boost, A/F, Oil Temp, Oil Pressure, EGT)
STi Candian floormats
Momo Race Aluminum Airleather 6sp shift ****
And I already posted the ICE, so no need to revisit that I think.
On the way:
Cusco OS front and rear strut braces
Cusco lower chassis brace
Cusco front and rear adj. swaybars
Tein EDFC
And a few other items . . .

It needs more oversteer for autocross, though. It still wants to plow too much in the tight turns. Nothing a nice fat rear sway can't fix. And I can't wait to solidify the chassis under the engine, too. . . . then turn-in will be even better.
I love your car!!!
I'll be getting one this summer and it seems like time is passing really slowly =(
May I ask how much you paid for yours?
Many dealers around my area don't have any more 04's in stock and are waiting for 05's to come in. Can't wait for the gunmetal silver if rumors prove to be true =)

No 1/4 mile times yet. I'm not going to drag it much, anyway. When I do hit the dragstrip, I'll let you guys know. . . post some timeslips, etc. Making a GT car out of this one.

Paid MSRP for mine. . . back when that was about as good as you could do. They can be had now for just a few hundred over invoice if you're good with the salesperson.
The grey is coming in 2005. I'm almost jealous of that color as it would have been a good change from silver, but I like my silver too.

Hmmm. . . I won't go into the future plans too much, but I'll list the following:
Speedware harness bar with camera mount
Sparco 4-point harnesses
Possibly JDM fogs
Suspension bracing galore
Swaybars (put on hold due to endlink issue people are having)
Leaving the engine alone until the warranty is up. After that, I'll probably wait until I've got about $5,000 I can sink in all at once. However, with 300hp from the factory, tuned suspension and the like are all I really need to make this car completely track-worthy. . . . which is my ultimate goal.
Body kit? Probably not. The factory pieces already look great, and are actually functional.
More ICE? Not likely. While I will show the car, I'm certainly not out to build a "show car" of sorts.
