Street Racin' a Civic Type R

Here is a video of my *stock* engine/trans/suspension EM2 Civic racing my friend with a EK9 Hatch that has a B16B swap... his car ran a solid 13 1/4mi last summer... its prolly faster now. He gave me a 1 car head start and the road we're racing on is only about 1/8mi....

I also have a passenger who is filming.

Its entertaining to watch and the sound of his B series is amazing. friggin N1 exhaust

wow... you launch at pretty high rpm... (i saw at around 5-6k)... u must've been spinning ur tires like mad... i'd launch a bit lower than that, like 3-4k...

actually... my tires were so melted, they stuck well... you can hear the spinning taper off before i even shift.

as far as i know, some fuel upgrades, CF airbox, new cams, cam gears... a few other things... it redlines at 9800. the car is also stripped bare... its just a dashboard and two seats. it also may be track conditions/air density or something like that for part of the difference.
