Well just posted it in my gallary and had to post a tread about it. I got a chance to drive around Daytona Interenatial Speedway about 5 months ago, and of course I took it! Who wouldn't? Anyhow I didn't have anyone in the infeild to take pictures, but later on found out there was a professional photographer out there taking pics. I went through a week just to find out who the photographer was contact him. He said he was going to send the pics....never happened...so yesturday at work (which I just started; performance part shop) I was looking around at all the photos on the computer and found all the pics from the event which was thrown by the shop. To my surprise there it was and photo of me driving over the finish line at the speedway. Couldn't have been any more perfect in my opinion.....
Cool pic and it must've been awesome to just come across one day, but two things:
1. nASScar as a sport blows and is terribly boring
2. the best picture on the site has to be jwalker's avatar

Damn dude. that is one SWEET picture. Isn't driving around the speedway such an amazing feeling? When I went to Nopi I got to make 4 laps around the Atlanta Speedway. (I'm pretty sure everyone only gets 2 laps, I must have had good luck or a car full of girls!) They make you stay under 60mph (if I remember correctly), no stopping, passing or breaking for safetly purposes. Such an amazing experience.
everyone should to go Nopi just for that!

WOW! Lots of replies.....
Unfortunately they had speedway ppl watching at all times and I had to stay under 80mph. However, right before I got to take the lap they were doing qualifying for the Rolex 24 hrs so there were spectators and the chicanes (*spell) where open. Due to the positioning of where the speedway ppl stood the chicane was not being watched where I gunned it and did about a 100-120 through the turns along with the rest of the guys who did the same lap with me...Good thing the rims & tires where sold and being picked up the next day :-)
