coloured rims
opinions...these are my rims...they're silver now and i was considering having them powdercoated a colour but leaving the rim with a machined/polished lip.
here's some pics courtesy of BassKadet and his photoshoping skills (thanks man
)

black with lip:

gunmetal-ish:

the lip on the gunmetal should probably be a bit brighter...bit more silver so that it sticks out more...but you get the idea.
If anybody else has suggestions do a little photoshop of the colour cause i'm considering all options.
Tell me what you think. Personally i love the black. On LAC its currently 9-2 for the black

i dont know, either black or gunmetal with chrome lip looks good, but since you have a black car, i say get the black/chome lip
hELLL YEA the coloured with the lip is fawkin dope... mine are gunmetal with the lip... but being your car is black, i would have to say black with the lip... DO IT... when ever you think it might look better any other way just DO IT, PAINT THEM BLACK (powder coat that is)... goood luck

somewhere around $200 for 4 rims...extra for clearcoat. How long it would take is dependent on how busy they are. the actual process prolly doesnt take more than an hour

you want more tire
get some 15" or 16"
and they look real good with a drop
Powder-coating a perfectly good set of rims should be a crime unless you just can't get a similar rim already gunmetal or bronze or whatever.
Personally, I hate dark gunmetal rims... to me it just looks like the car has its winter tires on, but hey, I'm from up north where I see winter rims like 90% of the time and so I prefer some southern bling... I like the way your rims are now.
