Would there be any disadvantage/s?
its good to keep the revs under 3k
its also good to step on it once in a while, as stated before, because of the carbon deposits. WOT and the inertia of the air filling the cylinders will kinda brush off the carbon deposits.
plus, its fun to get on it. brings the engine to life cause most power is made above 5-6.8k RPM

so... the bad things about rev below 3k will be... carbon deposits, slowness LOL, won't get the oil in the bottom of the pan moving...
and good things... the life of my engine will last longer? and save gas...
and skarteez mentioned it's good if I step on it once in a while? what did you mean by that? what if it's traffic and every block is a red light.. I have to rev up more than 3k? coz in my place it's always traffic! and I don't rev more than 3k sometimes only 2k (yea thats how worst traffic here is sometime!)
