which is bullshit. im looking at 225/35/20 now.. but thinking if clearance will allow.... so as of now idk.... im def gonna try and make this work out.

since if i get 225.35.20 i have to raise my suspension .635" and it'l raise car 1.27" which sucks ima make another set of my 19's and (sell mine) and roll on new 19's until the 30 series come out... then i only have to raise suspension .19" and car will raise .38...

does that sound decent im just afraid raising suspension .635" and car 1.27" will be gay

id do the 20's. I mean who has 20 in wheels on civic--no one. You would be the first. Rasing the car 1.27 isnt that much but i know what you mean when you want a certain look. I say be original and be the only one rollin on 20's and your cars really low as it is so if you have an extra 1.27 it will be hardly noticed. Do you have problems driving a car around that low? I couldnt get farther then 3 miles from my house with a car that low.

alrite i say if u wnt it go for it. heres the deal if u raise it up 1 inch your rims are gunna be 1 inch bigger too so u cant tell because the new bigger rims will fit that wheel gap. does that sound rite. but hey its ur choice do what u want but u got people siked up on 20's now u gotta do it haha. go for it just get the tire size that can fit.

see i know i got everyone siked up but the thing is ...after sitting around and looking at tuner magies all day long i think that.... a nice set of custom 19's that fit perrfect. would be alot nicer than a set of custom 20' that dont fit 110% correctly..


as to solve the problem of siking people up what do you guys think of a set of fully forged monoblock aircraft aluminum 19" 14.5lb wheels custom offset +45 19x7.5 4x100 polished lip and custom dipped spokes.....im thinking hyperblack....bronze?....idk someone help me think of a color. BTW they look similar to RH C5 their not 2 peice wheels. but their monoblock and forged and at 14.5 lbs each they wont put as much stress on my car... BOILER MAKER/ZZYXX* would a 19" wheel still have a horrible rotational mass if they were only 14.5lbs? reason i wonder is because as of now i feel lie im killing my brakes and my torque converter. i would run pirelli p7000 or even maybe falken azeni (the have a 205/35/19 which would be pulled onto the rim and allow me to go even lower.... yes lower..

so here is the question.....

which rim would look best on my car?

A) 14.5lb (C5 lookilike rims... any color imagineable w/ polished lip.

B) 24lb 20's 225/35/20 (suspension must be raised .635" and car will be 1.27" higher than now. 8.62% difference on speedo) sticks out 7mm farther than my 19's and sticks inside 3mm farther..

C) 19x7.5 volks... GT-N gunmetal....silver....bronze....(found a brand new set of silver 18x7.5 ones for madddd cheap..but their 18's)

D) 19x8 +47 AXIS wheelsite MESH2 215/35/19 falken azeni.... fits well sticks in wells 8.65mm and sticks out 4.35mm farther than my 19' do now

E) 19x8 axis neo +45 sticks out 6.35mm and sticks inside wells 6.35mm more thaan 19's..

F) 20x7.5 HRE 540 series (seems like a waste to put on a civic... hmm 7000$ rims on civic thats worth 14,700...

G) i can sell mine and order another set w/ cheap p7000's on em ride on them until i figure something else out.

H) 19x7.5 VOLK GT-C (silver, bronze, gunmetal) falken tires

I) 19x7.5 VOLK GT-P look a likes. falken tires

As you can see i have so many ideas and so many choices and im stuck between either ....having a rim that fits perfectly dont have to worry about rubbing, rides nice and is all around awesome. or do somethin new like 20's that will stick out too far...i will have to plasma cut everything.. and i'll have to raise my slammed like a bitch car. i an go 18's and tuck the beast even farther than she already is.. but thats gay... get new 19's that have a different look and maintain height and not get as good tires (out of stock not currently being made) get like falken azeni or p7000 or even toyo tires... as of now im thinking why make driving a pain in the ***.. 20's will be rediculous and ovedone. and without 17" rotors would look gay and look doofy*. so im currently thinking 19" wheels... maybe get something like 7 spokes....5 spokes... 5 wide spokes.... 10 spokes... 3 peice.... 2 peice... monoblock.... silver....custom dipped.... i have no idea. i just wish someoen w/ class like xtreme, toolow, blackbullet, danscrea, woulkd gimme advice on what to do im struck by these "children" who love big things and say 20's 20's 20's even tho its a dumb idea now that ive thought of it its the peer pressure thats making me want em now.. personally i have no "love" for the custom 20's i only like them for their size.. not their aesthetic value.. i think a nice 19 would suffice being that it 1) fit properly, 2) looks very nice, 3) light weight 4)very attractive...... a 215/35/19 tire feels nice to me and is good for my roads around me... argh im soo confused and dont know what i want.. as of now im thinking nice 19's.... so hard to choose when u dont even know what u want. i like my rims now but lately their just not " feeling me" right.

a 15 lb 19" wheel wouldn't hurt as bad as a 24 lb or more 19" wheel, but the fact that the weight is so far from center will still hurt it.
I would guess it would have inertia similar to a 20-25 lb 17" wheel, but it probably would still drag on you a little more because of the extra torque you'd need to turn the big wheel. I don't think it would kill too much, especially considering the 19" wheel you got on there now probably weighs 20 someodd lbs. I'd still upgrade the brake pads and rotors, and probably the fluid too, just to be sure you can handle the extra stress.

Technically, you don't have to raise your car, though that would be the cheaper choice. You could always tub out the fender wells, and roll them for additional clearance. Another option you could look at for the show aspect would be doing both of those, and bagging it. That way, you can raise it a little if you plan on keeping it a daily driver, then when you get to the show, you could slam it on the bags. I'm bagging mine, but I'm going with custom 18's, so no tubbing the fenderwells for me. Probably gonna have to roll some for the new wider rims, but not tub them.

call 863-646-4212 for some 20x8 45 offset, chrome, 4x100 lug. but be prepared to pay 2000 for all 4 though mounted and balanced with 225/30/20. ask for anthony, he'll give you the hookup

Whether its your display, custom parts, one-off parts, whatever, you have to stand out and make people turn their heads, and say "Wow". Cause fact is, unless you do that, the majority of the time, you don't or won't win in the big shows.
