hey guys i need some advice: i have an auto EX and i want to turbo my car but it just seems like too much trouble. what do u think should i turbo it or not?? dont just say turbo it cause we all want turbo, gime an honest answer with this in mind... im 16, have an auto. also i put this in members rides talk on purpose, cause its just talk not a FI question persay... so help me out guys, what should i do??
also i have another question, should i go for the type B lip or get a more agressive body kit??
and yes i have the money to do both, but prolly not enough to get a whole new tranny if it was to fry, but id keep the boost to like 6psi for a daily driver

Well, im 17 with a 02 civic ex auto, and i say, if you can turbo it, DO IT!!!! Just keep it at 5-6 psi daily. Thats what I think im going to do when im happy with everything else on the car...
If not, do you have rims/suspension, etc.? Im focusing on taht first....Though with the damn money I have in this car i coulda turbo'd or bought a k20 by now. lol

It's all up to you. I have an auto sedan and plan on getting the ported head work from DH-racing. That's 25+whp for around $600. With the SF kit, you're gonna have to run low boost or be forced to upgrade lots of things like tranny. I went for more of a clean look on my sedan, mostly sticking with OEM parts.

thanks for the quick feedback guys, jason im not keeping my car stock so just forget about it! also i really wana turbo it but ima get the looks done first then see where im at. and yea i think i want more of a "clean" look, keep it simple. k keep postin ur opinions guys!!
ok heres the deal, you are 16, money in your hand is a good thing, dont waste it, a turbo is nice, but at the end its only a civic, nothis super fast, plus its an auto. hookup your car, rims kit and whatnot, but turbo, nah. too much money, plus u will have to use expensive gas, not to mention mentanance will increase, save up your cash for somehing faster when u get into colledge or finish highschool. just my 2 cents

I say keep it clean, the gunmetal rims on the rallye red looks amazing, I was surprised at how much the really bring out the red.
If you have the money then get the turbo if you plan on keeping the car for a long while!
