No regrets, just make sure you get the ECU flash from Mazda. It'll take care of the hesitation at around 4k RPM where, for some reason the A/F ratio got extremely rich. The ECU is really hard to tune without a full standalone. The Hal tech works, but you need experience with those. Any piggy back, the ECU learns around and negates changes. If you plan on boosting high (anything above 12-13 PSI, and even lower depending on your climate) get the pauter rods. It's a great all around car, with ALOT of potential.
If you're looking for ***** to the wall straight line speed, get an SRT-4. If you want handling on par with Porsche 911, the look of a European Saloon, and a price tag under 20K, then the MSP is a good pick. It's generally agreed that the car can handle about 300 hp through the tranny, but not without forged internals, fuel, and timing management.

^^^^^^^the "no flash" is what makes it a shaky pic because the lens stays open longer. you need a tripod<<the only solution!
