my k20 swap done bunch of new pictures (56k don't bother) Changed the thread title added a bunch of pictures.
The bracing cut away for the PS pump to clear.

Rep Power: 344 hood brace needs to be trimmed to fit the PS pump, everything is done except for the exhaust and hood, which is being done tomarrow.

XxSoVeReiGNxX: my friend Mike did the majority of the work, i did the easy stuff, brakes, shift cables, seats, battery in trunk. i'll have to see if he's up to it or not. Might not be but i'll find out

Rep Power: 344 basically, the underbracing of the hood is about 1 1/8 inch in height, the hood has a gap of about 1. the bracing needs to be cut by the power steering pump so it'll close right.
I'll take pictures of the cut bracing tomarrow when i get it done.

Rep Power: 404 its there cause its a turbo hood, to have room for the turbo, just get a cf hood and it should clear that probly, i bet that ish is loud, my exhaust with a hp header, high flow cat and mendrel bent piping, almost made me go deaf.. haha

Man I'd work so hard to save up that $8k quick, if you guys would work on mine! You could start a business lol. nah just kidding, a year of car work aside from you everyday job was probably exhausting. My warranty's up in a little over a year, so then it wouldn't matter what mods I put on the car.

Nice Hawk, Im loving my swap so much. Like you said sixth gear picks up like nothing once you get to about 80 in sixth it picks up like the d17 did full throttle. You should here my car i have the jackson race header. My hood looks exactly like yours i need to cut out more. I have a vis carbon fiber hood. I need a digi so i can take pics

Car is all buttoned up, running perfect. Holy crap my car rules!!! when the I-VTEC engages its rediculous, car gets so loud, it just pulls you into the seat. I was not expecting it to do what it does, i love my car!!

he bought the entire wrecked RSX type S, so $8000 sounds like a really good price. and that car came with interior, engine, tranny (i'm guessing?), most of the little parts, wheels, axles (5 lug conversion, anyone?)hawk:
