My new car! 2004 Acura EL - Premium!
Just picked the car up tonight, it's a 2004 Acura EL - Premium, in Magnesium Metallic! It's sooo nice, I just love it! The heated leather seats are amazing in this weather, especially since we're going through a cold snap right now
Of course, since it's winter, I have 14" steelies on wrapped in Bridgestone Blizzak WS-50 rubber, but when the spring comes, you better believe the 15" 15 spoke Acura wheels are going back on!
I already have some Sylvania SilverStar's on, so that has made a nice difference. Of course the fog lights help too! Anyways, here are the pics! Enjoy, I know I will

*Getting spoiler on Saturday, it was delayed*

It's kinda like what Honda did to the Civic sedan in 2003, with the clear red housing. For 2004 the EL's rear lights have the clear red housing, and the front end got an updated bumper with standard fog lights, and gunmetal housing in the lights instead of chrome
Glad ya like it, I know I do!
As for the steelies without covers... meh? Didn't bother, would have been extra money (we bought the steelies from a Honda dealership for $50 CDN a piece *got them for a deal since they came off a vehicle* and took them to Acura to put them on, then put the alloys away for the winter). They came with Honda wheel covers, just didn't put them on, I'm actually trying to sell them here

Yeah... unfortunately
But... I dunno, it grows on ya... I was GOING TO swap in the Civic carbon fibre trim, but the EL has more parts, and the cup holder area is different to accomodate the heated seating buttons... Oh well... plus, there's wood trim on the doors, so I'd have carbon fibre on some parts, and wood on the rest... oh well, I like it

Not as much as you might think actually, for all of the extra stuff you get standard (side air bags, leather wrapped steering wheel, moon roof, heated leather seats, fog lights, 4-wheel disc brakes) it's about the same as a fully loaded Si (EX) sedan. Since it's a lease, the interest rate was roughly 3% a month less than what the LX sedan was back in 2001, so it worked out to be the same payments every month, can't go wrong there!
Thanks!
As for the HID question, nope, same basic headlight design as the original 7th gen design (of course you can see the differences though) but I have SilverStars installed so it lights up the road better than stock does!
