What color headlights
What color headlights
I kinda messed up on the headlight clearning job, I got some of that black crap on the chrome so I decided that I'm going to paint them tommorow. I know 99% of the poeple paint them black but I was thinking painting them silver to match the color of my car. Do you guys think silver will look good or should I just go with black?
Only do it if You use the exact same color. i painted mine silver that didnt march and it was ugly.
Another thing, if you paint them. Either dont paint the corners (Signal and parking light) or put some chrome sticker there because mine did not reflect the light and it looked weird at night.
I prefer the chrome looks so i went back to the OEM cleared headlights, but if you do it right. it might looks awsom, and unique

paint them silver, or get the "chrome" spraypaint and use that. if you spray a coat of primer on there from like a foot away it will be a little grainy, then if you spray the chrome it looks like its brushed aluminum. thats what i did and it looks pretty good.

do NOT use wd40!!! it will take the chrome off. rubbing alcohol is probably safer, but it dries very fast. i heard that vinegar works well.
but DO NOT use wd40 or goo gone or anything like that.
