mud guards?
should I take off my mud guards. I am washing my car today and have been thinking about it so I might as well take them off before I wash. But I don't know if I should take them off.

Take them off... Why?
I have a feeling they do more harm than good. If you get crap on the bottom of the car, you can just spray it off.
The splash guards trap dirt, crap and water behind them, it scratches the paint, and just begs for rust down the line. I took mine off after about a year, it took 4 runs of paint cleaner to get the discoloration off from the stuff that was trapped underneath.
