New EVO Carbon Fiber Hood....

I just bought this hood for my '02 civ... I got hooked up on a goood price.. Let me know what you think......

no... i will take some tomorrow and post them.. Its the hood off the Lancer EVO 8.... but in carbon fiber.. ill post more pix tomorrow...

For a hood that's made for an entirely different car, it fits your Civic remarkably-well.

I take it that it's an EVO-VIII STYLED CF 2001+ Civic hood?

Yes it is.. and i was very surprised how it fit my car.. we bolted it on in like 10 minutes... and it lines up perfect tooo...

man that looks awesome, Ive been looking for a hood like that with the 2 smal vents on the sides. Im not trying to be a biter, but who makes it and how much is the normal price?

slick- you shouldn't dislike how carbon fiber hoods look on black, you should be looking at them based on the weight to help performance, then worry about looks. When you go based on weight than it looks great on anything.

by the way that is a beautiful hood. Did you weigh it to see how much lighter it is?

I can also do local so cal. pick up. And for those of you wondering, there is a grill under the scoop that keeps water from getting in, and the hood is semi functional.

VIS has the hood n their site. the pic is a little higher up, and from a slightly different angle. plus, its on (i think this is the color) SSM vic. you can see a little more detail on the hood, and see what the feature look like a little better than the user posted pics. it looks really nice from a different angle.
