I painted mine.
I first used some plastic primer that was self etching and had flex
polymer in it.
I then went to an autobody paint store and bought a pint of the top coat
only of NHB (didnot purchase basecoat or clearcoat).
I then did a 5 to 1 to 1 mixture of the color to reducer and a hardener.
Used an aircompressor and siphon fed paint sprayer at 50 to 60 psi.
after three coats a perfect match and no paint chips after 2 years!
Oh yeah yeou also need to apply a mist coat to even out metallics
and allow between 10-15 minutes flash between coats.
allow a good 12hours for the paint to dry before installing.
I left my bumper on and just bent back and used a small swcewdriver to get to
the tricky screws holding the stock grill on. I also left the top plastic shroud
off permanently.

My uppergrill were painted. Looks cleaner imo. I would get it professionally painted. Since you have Coupe, radiator cover wont fit with new grill. You can put without radiator cover or buy sedan radiator cover.
