dude! same thing happened to me. going about 35 in a 55 through a construction zone. they were tearing up the street the same way and i hit the sewer, no sign of a potential sewer sticking up from the ground, just signs to alert u of construction, and i blew the tire and bent the rim. it sucked!

Damn man that sucks.. I would contact the city or the state's department of transportation and complain to them I'm sure they'll cover a new tire and rim.. Afterall that kind of protruding manhole should be marked with a cone or something....

same happend to me. if any of you are familiar with columbus blvd in philly, the incident too place right infront of the gas station next to Show and Tell. they took like a 10 x 10 section of the right lane out. it was like 3 inches deep and i droped the right side of my car in it. like 2 days before i hit it they had it tape off wiht tape blinking signs cones and all that ****. but the night i hit it they took all the cones and **** off and didnt fix the road. luckily i didnt bend my rim i just blew a hole in the side wall of the cheap *** kumho 711 that came wiht my rims that i got from wheelmax. oh by the way F U C K wheelmax!
