You can do it but it's not legal in most states. I think some states allow it but it's not even a noticable percentage. I assuming you want to do something like 35-40 percent. You can't see through it when it rains though, especially at night time. And when it fogs up forget about it. You'll just have to pull off the road wait until your heater can clear it up. Also, if you get into an accident, get ready to pay because you'll be blamed due to the tinted windshield.

Im thinking of reflective tint all around, and then 35% on the windshield, there has to be a law that says reflective tint is illegal because you can't see in at all!!! lol
