Where to put PS2?????

I want to put my PS2 in my car but don't know where. The glove is barely too small and seats to close to floorboard. I will eventually do a custom install but, where to put for now??!??!

Project2k2 is on a distinguished road
I think, if I am not mistaken, that the only place to put it without a custom instal was underneath the passenger seat. I believe a friend told me this but I may be wrong.

Yukonart will become famous soon enough
Unless you have aftermarket seats. . . under the passenger seat, just like Project2k2 suggests.

u cant put it where the armrest is .. the ps2 does not play in that upright position.. believe me it been tried.. just throw it in the glove box... cut alil hole for the wires and just velco that bitch in there
u can even close the glove box while ur using it.. the wires can still make it out the box for the controllers.

My PS2 won't fit under the passenger seat and I haven't tried craming it in the glove box because it'd be sitting upside down.
What I'm doing for now is sitting it on the floor behind the passenger seat. If you tuck it the long way and pull the passenger seat all the way back, it will hold it firmly in.
I'll try to take a picture of what I'm talking about.

You could also place it on the floor board in front of the passengers seat like I did. I made a custom enclosure to hold it in place and allow me to take it out easily. The only problem with this, is that it now sits under your passengers feet and they always have to keep their feet to the sides of it or extend it under the glovebox, so kinda uncomfortable at times (especially for short people).

Yup, this is very true. I tried placing it upright (with the cd on top and a/v and power inputs on the bottom) along the side of the center console, but no luck, just wouldn't play (even if you started a game normally then turned it upright, it would freeze the game).

mndthegap1 has a spectacular aura aboutmndthegap1 has a spectacular aura about
i have mine under the passenger seat and its fine...
i had it there with stock seats, with sparco torinos, and now its there
with 03' si seats. and i dont have any problems.
if you decide to put it in the glove box, be carefull ps2 creates alot of heat
and since its there is not alot of air circulation in the glove box you may run
into problems.

my ps2 is in the glove box, you have to kinda push the sides of the glovebox open as youre putting the ps2 in, but it fits nicely once in there, ill get some pics up for you tomorrow afternoon
