now thats funny your right. its just alot of cars i see on this site look stock and every one will say wow that hot it looks so good thats great your car is so clean and i now that theirs orthers out their saying the same thing, that so stock. those same people start to belive it so they enter a show and dont win and whant to know why? then their was this car a about 4 mounths ago that was green and yellow that look great just maybe the john deer thing was not working but very few people had love for this guys car what a shame. i was one of the only people who said good for you we need every one whos new to be able to see every poss. of how we can make our car look so we can get more members not try to shoot each orther down. i would like to see more cars some what like mine post more offten i know they are out their but not worry that they are going to be made fun of. we are all on this site becouse we all have hondas or we want to learn or make friends or share thoughts or find parts what ever not to put orther hondas down thats all. It's all good. Some people do not like the show cars and as soon as they see wild paint jobs and extreme body kits they instantly cringe. It took me a while to understand the mind set behind show cars. It is not something I am into but it is still interesting to see what some people have created. Personally, if it doesn't help my car's horsepower, handle better, or lighten the weight...it isn't going onto my car. I have too little horsepower to begin with and am into road rally and hope to get back into autocross after my son is born, so I don't need all the body kits and lambo doors, etc. You will probably see some more positive comments from some members, but considering who replied to your post, you got off light. Congrats on your awards, the ride looks well constructed, but maybe you could take some of the comments as constructive and turn some of those 2nd place finishes into 1st.

You need to take other people's opinions more light heartedly. MANY people will say, all show and no go =rice. Others may not. this is a civic forum, you asked us to say our opinions and i did. Obviously not everyone likes it, if everyone did...you'd be getting 1st place all the time. But your not, so shut it. Just because i said i wasnt feeling your car that automatically makes me a jealous lil kid wannabe racer? hah. no. you got a lot to learn. More and more that i think about youor reply, it makes me more and more convinced you represent those same exact people you called me.

Its already been proven that hitting the 200 whp mark isnt that hard. People are already pushing into the 12s with the D17 and turbos. Others are swapping in the k20. IMO its harder to do that than slap on some rims, tezzas, and HUGE kit. Those are the people who should be getting the awards from shows...unlike the ones you bought from wal-mart.

other than that the sides and rear look ok i guess.....u should repaint the rear bumper its too dark

ok thats decent. i agree... but if he's gonna get a kit and paint it on... try not using spray paint cause u can see the two tone on rear bumper.. and if he's gonna buy quality amps like rockford... try to use a real sub not an autobahn one.
