Rep Power: 332 Hey Hawk. Congrats on the bike! How was your safety class? I've been looking at the different ones offered around the area and need to decide which one to take. Incase you haven't seen this web site before, check it out: http://www.tristatesportbikes.com/fo...f261bcdb19a78d It's a really great site to learn about bikes and such and meet tons of awesome people. I already post there, trying to learn and stuff.
I am going to buy my first bike by the spring time. Probably a Ninja 250 or something similar. Gotta start out small since I'm short and stuff....

SimplySLB: The class was great. I went to the one by me at Fairleigh D1ckinson University. It's a MSF course cost me 250 bucks but it was the best 250 bucks i ever spent. Deffinetly worth the money. I wouldn't have rode 81 miles the first night if i didn't take it.
Anyway, good luck with getting your licence and bike, and trust me you won't care about m3's
anymore when you get a bike.
Impluse: specs are as follows (mind you mines a '03 its lighter and is fuel injected, also keep in mind that its not a top speed bike, its a low range monster )

0-30 mph 1.34 sec
0-60 mph 3.20 sec

0-100 mph 8.76 sec
Top gear time to speed:

Fuel Mileage High/low/avg. 51/43/46 (US gallons)
Avg. range inc. reserve: 193 mi.
Braking Distance: from 30 mph 27.16 ft.
