hey whats up guys .. i duno if u everyone knows.. but i blew my engine on the way to the Midatlantic meet.. and well the car has been sitting in my garage ever since..
just wanna give you guys an update...
It took me acouple weeks to get the cash together but heres whats going on...
Last week I installed HID's(pics)
yesterday I bought a new engine with 220 miles on it
it will be delivered here tomorrow.
also yesterday I mailed out payment for SF turbo kit (Dereks), payment for ACT clutch, and then i went and bought an engine hoist . (pics below)
Today i bought a couple gauges(pics below) and mailed out payment for Apexi AVC-R boost controller and Greddy Auto Turbo Timer.
The new engine should be going in this weekend along with the clutch, and as soon as the turbo arrives that will go in also.
My Kaminari Kit is gonna get painted next week sometime too.
SOOOO hopefully by next weekend this project should be done, provided there arent any problems.. which i doubt their will be.
check it out at the end of the thread.... new pictures of the engine being removed... it took us about 4 hours only cause it was so hot out side we kept takin breaks lol ... and no problems to report so far.. everythings going smooth.. the only bump in the road is that the turbo has not yet been shipped so its delayin the install of the new engine.

Oil pressure is easy. Same thing as changing oil except its a little tighter space, and you've gotta do some wiring. It isn't hard though, should be easy with the engine out. There is a DIY in the DIY section.

hey man are you going to get the cluster pod and stick those the oil and temp guages in there? or are you gonna get a pillar?

dude it totally sucks they dont make a pillar for my car... Im gonna have osofast build me a glove box pod and then im just gonna mount the one boost gauge by the wheel... if they made i a pillar i would have bought it.. **** maybe they do... FIND ME ONE!

... yea i was really destroy'd that day of the meet.. to have my baby fall apart , break down and to have to leave it at some **** hole shop for the weekend.. but hey as we all know MONEY fixes everything... and if alil dip into the savings has to be done... OH well .. I love MY Honda, its my hobby.. its worth it! plus the engine will have 220 miles on it.. so im basically getting a new car!

i was gonna do that in the first place.. but with parts and me doin the install its gonna be like 7k

paint the front and rear lips
so i went the cheaper route... plus I love turbo's and i can get just as much power out of one as i can k20
