Good luck with everything. Dont set yourself up for disappointment though. You dont think there is gonna be any snags along the way...but let me tell you that there is gonna be. If there is anything that i have learned from doing my K20A2 swap, its that no matter how prepared you think you are...there is always something that you have overlooked.
Good luck though, and i wish you only the best.

lol not to sound like a ****... but ur k20 is a total different story... all im doin is pullin out and engine, puting a new one in..... changing the clutch, and installing a turbo.
my best friend who is a BMW mechanic.. will be there every step of the way helping.
There will be not one snag in the proccess... I am prepared. In my eyes doin this is just like installing an exhaust... its just bolts. but yea thanks for looking out .

aparently some how the rod broke and started jumpin around inside the block... this is why right before the engine blew i herd something clanking when i pushed the gas... apparently what happened is that it broke, started jumpin around inside and then hit the walls hard enough and broke a hole.

lol and to think ... the place where i bought my new motor is paying me 75 bucks to come and pick it up

thanks guys... everything is going really smooth.. the hardest part (removing the engine) is already done .. and that was CAKE...

The engine came today it was supposed to be here thursday, then apparently they lost the one i bought which i dont believe... i bet they just sold it to someone else for more, then friday they brought me a vtec model.... and today well today came the right one but instead of havinf 220 miles this one has 6k.. which honestly i dont mind cause now its already broken in and ready for the turbo. heres a pic.... only thing that i needed to change was the throttle body off my old one cause the new engines throttle body got bent somehow and it was no good... so i changed it already (4 bolts) and disconnected their engine wiring harness... all that needs to be done is remove the header and im good to go... Once the turbo gets here it will be all up hill from there and only a matter of hours before im up and runing. imp:
