Rep Power: 0 FINALLY!! Ordered all the bits for my swap today!
As some of you know, ive had my K20A2 sitting here since April begging to be put in. Things kept on comming up to where i had just enough money to order everything else for the swap, but then things would pull me down. I lost my job, a couple times, but now am in a steady job.
If eveything comes in this week, i will start this weekend on the project.
Ordered:
AEM Polished CAI
Motor Mounts
02 Si Radiator/fans/upper and lower hoses
Axles
That should be it. I have the motor like i said with all the fixings.
Wish me luck, when im done, im gonna put together a video, goto the track, take tons of pics, and do a full review on how the swap went.
My plan is to go all sleeper. Im keeping the 4-lug on my civic, but will be putting 2002 Si brakes in the back. I'll be Si, GSR, Prelude, and TypeR hunting soon.

hey, sorry if this sounds like a newb questions (even tho it is)...but for those that have done the swap...what is your insurance like? are you paying for insurance as if you're driving a civic, or an rsx-s...because i'm debating with which i'd get and if you paying rsx-s insurance price then i'd rather just get an rsx even tho all i want it for is the motor. So i thought i'd just get an LX and do the swap save myself a couple thousand while keeping cheaper insurance?? thanks in advance

Rep Power: 0 when im done, i want to either get a meet together, or if there is one that would be commin up then go to it, cause i for sure want to give everyone that wants a chance, a chance to ride in it. I am going to be very open about this swap with people, i'll give rides to whoever, take lots of pictures, answer all your questions, make videos, goto the track, etc.
Parts should be here by the end of the week at the latest...so i should be up on a rack Friday night. Im gonna work with my buddies all friday night, saturday, saturday night, sunday, sunday night, then i have to work monday while they continue work, hope to be close to done by the 12th or 13th. But im not going to promiss anything, cause im sure problems will come up. But with atleast 26 hours total on the weekend it should be pretty far along.
Keep your fingers crossed!

Rep Power: 0 im the guy who did the wrench work for NobottleJustthrottle, and let me tell you, that the wrench work isnt that bad. The hard part is the damn Wiring. We have the car all doen except that. If anyone can shed any light on this it would be great. I think that i have the wiring by the ECU done, but the wiring for teh O2 sensors i donthave dont, and i dont really get it. Anyone have any light they can shed on this?
