theres so many factors that you can choose between those cars.

dont like the evo viii look, sti sick of the waiting list, s2000 depends....its nice but u cant have a 3rd person. but if i have to choose, the sti....300hp thats pretty nice for a stock car...

i would go with the s2000, the sti is putting out 300 hp stock but thats because it has a turbo and intercooler the s2000 has more race potential

Just get one of your friends to pull up in a $40,000+ car and they WILL let you test drive.

Before I got my Cl-S i pulled up to several Acura/Nissan dealers to test the 350, G35c and TL-S,CL-s, in my protege 5, and a lot of the dealers want you to put a deposit or they won't even let you test drive it. Bunch of morons, i make more money than those sleezy salesguys in a week than they do in a month. But now that I do have the Cl-S i pulled into a mazda dealer the other day and checked out the new Rx-8's and about 3-4 different sales guys were trying to get me to test drive one... it's all about image.

Just get the WRX, not the Sti and your payments will be lower, plus you can mod the car with the rest of the money, and when you pull up next to an Sti....you can say bye bye Sti... hell yeah.

i like the look of an evo, but i heard mitsu spent their money more on performance so build quality is pretty crappy. i don't really like the looks of the sti...personally if you don't need backseats, get the s2000...looks great in blue (i forget what the actual name was). just my opinion tho

After all I used to think about those cars, I can't believe I'm saying this, but I would DEFINATELY go with the Evolution. I'm not too hot about the 19.5lbs of boost to get 271hp, but from what I've read, and the fact that you live in Iowa, it's the only choice. Who cares that the STi is fast in a straight line? It still is slower because the Evo has handling from heaven. The 350Z and S2000 are both RWD, which I wouldn't really want for an only car if I lived someplace that gets snow. Too impractical unless you're a balla and can afford another car that won't get you in trouble in snow.

It's not straight line acceleration - it's the feel of the car.
