My latest mod...
I got bored today and decided to work on my shifter assembly. I hate the wall that holds the shift boot up. So I decided to get rid of it.
I pulled out my dremel and hacked it off......

I did the same thing with my MT boot on my AT car. But I did it because the shift **** was smacking into that wall underneath. It squashed my fingers everytime I put the car into park. A little buzzin from the dremel and it's all good.

Rep Power: 424 Out of curiousity, which cutoff tool did you use? Every time I try to cut this plastic crap, it always snags the wheel.
It's too much of a production for me to yank that out of the car, and do it, then I'd have to stuff the Momo boot back in those little slots, so I think I'll pass on this one, but it does look good.

Rep Power: 412 I used a disk like sanding tool. My metal cutter tool would snag on it too. So I used a sanding disc.

Rep Power: 306 I did something similar, but it was just so I could squish the MOMO leather boot inbetween that wall and the rest of the ring. Worked like a charm, but I still have the wall keeping the boot's shape. I'll post a pic soon.
