It arrived today in a huge box(6'x4')!!!!!
I know this thread is worthless without pics. It's still packaged up. I will probably be installing it tomorrow or saturday. I have to go get a drill first so that i can make holes for the hood pins.
Once the hood is done, you will find yourself with a DIY for hood install and a DIY for hood pins install in a couple days.
Can't wait!!!

I got the hood from Crzybreaks here on the site. He only had the hood for 2 months before he decided to sell it to me.
I got it for $600 shipped. He took the hood to a professional packaging place where they built a custom box for it with perfect packing so that it wouldn't get hurt shipping. The shipping itself cost $175. So I only really had to pay $425 for the hood!!!!
I was at the gym earlier today.

Anyone have any tips for drilling? I was thinking put tape over the area, then drill a small hold and slowly make the hole bigger and bigger.
Dude..that sounds like the logical way to do it. Personally I'd spend a minute on the web and search up some basic how-tos on CF. Se what the fabricator guys say. If you don't have time I might be able to do some diggin' in an hour or so!
fly i dont know if this will help or not, but here's a link i found with some tape DIY..
hope this helps somewhat..

do like you will to side marker. tape and take a smallest drill bit to make a target. then drill the size of the hood pins. the most important thing is to take your time. do not push down on the drill, let it slowly drill down. you try to sort of like sanding off the cf by a drilling. force will crack it. my buddy and i try it on his car and we learn our lesson. kaminari is a very good product and there cf hood probally withstand more.
