Gonna purchase a new headunit... Let me know if its good or not I went to my local car&stereo place, and they gave me the price of the kenwood installed for 450$
Kenwood Excelon KDC-X869
Is that a good deal? I think it will match perfectly with my DIY Blue Dash
Im also going to get 2, 10w3 JLB Subs in a box for 750$ installed....

If it plays MP3 & has 3 outputs (seperate sub output) it's a deal! If not look at this one

Rep Power: 372 the only thing i dont like about cd players like that is the motor that moves the displays. if that tears up and you have no warranty then your screwed but most places have warranties that cover that. Just make sure where you purchase that item that if that happens it will be replaced or fixed.

I have gotten osofast2001, and also SimplySLB....awesome deals....I could prolly get that radio for alot less money for you....

Rep Power: 396 Also as for which head unit to get I would say go with Kenwood, Alpine, Pioneer, or Clarion....Those are the best headunit brands on the market right now. I research mobile audio for a living...The brands I would stay away from are AIWA, SONY, Sanyo, Blaupunkt...

The onlything is i dont know which to get... Now that i heard about the flip ones feeling like it would break... Or, the motor burning out... IDK
The main reason for me liking them is because when they are folded up its black, and u cant really see if there is a new h/u or if there is one.. ya know?

Rep Power: 396 oh...wow $100 to install it....I never realized thats what it costed. I had my friend install it...all I had to buy was the wire harness and the kit.

Rep Power: 339 well i wouldn't go for anything that's motorized to open up. it wont work as good or at all after a couple years. and also, like going over bumps and driving around with it tilted would make me feel like i'm jiggling it around and going to break it. i like to look though i don't mean to crush your plans but look around a little bit more.
dude, i dont know what alot of these guys are talking about, but ive had an eclipse deck, and a alpine deck and they both broke, get the kenwood... hands down, and i know thats a good deck because my friend has it in his type R with 2 15 l7 kicker subs and the preouts on that unit are awsome... get the kenwood you wont be happier.

i got a pioneer 850mp, it has the flip out thing like u like and it only cost 400 shipped and plus install of like around a hundred equals 500, so thats like 50 more, but its a pioneer and its top of the line with graphics and stuff, i'd recommend that one.
