Got in an accident tonight.
Rear ended a pick-up and basically went under his bumper.
Little to no damage on his truck. Here's the damage to me:
Left side of hood dented to hell and scratched, hinges may be bent( can't open all the way. itss been pushed back)
Left headlight housing is busted
Dents and scratches to top part of left fron quarter panel
Left end of grill insert scratched and space between headlight and insert scratched and dented slightly
Subframe behind left headlight is bent up slightly
Haven't decided whether to make a claim with insurance or not (under mom's name) or
get it done myself without insurance involvement.
Thats the bad news. Here's the good news:
Good time to get a carbon fiber hood
Might as well get a new front bumper (aftermarket, not stock)
New headlight housing (projector style?)
New fenders (Z3 style?)
New grill insert
The hood can be installed by my friends and I (not hard, is it?)
so can the headlights and grill insert.
My question to you guys is how difficult is it to remove and install a new front bumper and fender?
If its not that hard, I'm just gonna order new ones and install it myself.
I know the subframe is gonna have to be fixed and I'm hoping it won't have to replaced.
Any info or help would much appreciated guys. Thanx!

The fender is not a pain in the *** if you know what you're doing. It's quite easy. The only thing you need to make sure of is that it's bent correctly otherwise you'll easily find the edges of the door and fender scraping the paint off of each other.
