Should I get a WRX?
Whats up guys? I have a 2002 Civic SI and I enjoy the car very much. For the past few days I've been looking at 02 WRX's. I'm really liking the WRX now. Mostly since you can get one for around 18,000 now. I've only got an intake on my SI right now, so I have not spent that much money into the car yet. My question is, should I keep the SI and work on it, or should I get a WRX? I've been into Hondas, for a while now and I'm still learning about the K series motors. But I do not know much about the WRX. I know the specs of the car, but can anyone tell me more about them? How well do they react to mods? Are the motors well built? Things like that. Thanks in advance.
Stupid post. If your looking at buying a car the obvious thing to do is read about it first and do some research. Every two days there's a post should I get a WRX. It's obviously a good car getting car of year and placing first in almost every comparison test.

I'd say get the WRX. My brother bought an 02 wrx a few months ago. I got to drive it once--very very nice. I didn't get to take any tight corners, but it goes like a golf cart with an afterburner! You can just lay into the gas and off it goes...
My brother now says, why smoke 2 tires when you can smoke all 4?

i sold them, how can you get an 02 still, and for 18000? sounds like a damn good deal if its new. youll love them just like i do
wait a few years to lower your upside down on your SI so you make more money off it instead of adding money on top of your new car. and really if you want boost, man turbo that SI with Cybernation Turbo 4500+ and it comes with everything you need. And the results on it are awesome think it was around 246hp and 202 tq something like that i believe but damn that will be a quick SI. Plus in a few years some new cars should be coming out and you will have a hand full to pick out of. Plus if you get that WRX when the new cars come out you might want something new again which in return keeps adding up and up an UP! so i say wait for a little bit reduce the payment on the SI so you won't be upside down. I was thinking of getting a SI but I am waiting till next summer to make a final decision of what i want to do either turbo my EX or find a new toy.

Well guys, sorry to say but I'm not getting the WRX. After talking to my Insurance Company its going to be too high for my liking. Untill my last speeding ticket and accident I had come off my record, I'm going to have to deal with what I've got for now.
So the question now is, do I keep the K20A3 and boost it or do I get a K20A2 and go all motor?
