nice that you got it to fit... but isnt the TL engine like overly heavy as compared to a B18, k20, etc...

Whoa, this guys kidding right.. thats a HUGE motor for a civic- more then 2x bigger over stock as far as liters go

It's out of an 03 TL Type S. Has a 6 speed LSD tranny. Power steering works, hopefully will have ac in a few weeks. The motor weighs about 100 pounds more than the b and k series motors. I make that difference up in HP and TRQ. All mounts and accessories are all custom made. Stock hood fits perfect, no holes, total sleeper.

Stock hood on car. No Holes in hood like you have seen on other j-series swaps.

a guy in toronto jsut finished his car doing the jswap, he used hasport mounts for it and his engine sticks out his custom hood like bad. but since yours is lower in the bay wouldnt you tent to hit the oil pan and such, how low you sitting

The lowest part is 4 inches from the headers to the ground. Everything else sits 4.5 to 5 inches above the ground.

Even being 100 pounds heavier than a K, I still see that poor car never keeping traction lol. Although its funny that from the k20 site that a J series swap is cheaper than a K swap.(Least what I read up sorry if thats incorrect information)

Theres more weight over the wheels so I dont see traction being a huge problem as long as you dont drop the clutch
very nice though, I've always wanted to put my oddessy motor in my civic, lmao
nice work keep it up! You got to put a video up when its finished of a really sweet sleeper!

beat me to the punch dang i was going to do that as a project car. ahhahaha o well i guess a 13b miata is what i have to do now. one question did you custom make your motor mounts or does someone make them for the em2 chassis?

It's a 96 Hatch. Boost is coming after i get some times in on stock set up. Videos will be posted soon also.
