So Cal Canyon Run 5-24-08 L@@k 82 pics!!!
So today was an awesome day...in the end. For me the beginning sucked just because one i knew I was going to be late so i was kinda speeding. well about 8 miles right before getting there....my freaking clutch blew out. The worse part is that i was on the fast lane so i had to merge 5 lanes to pull over at freaking 50 mph and going down. oh well...good thing i work for a tow truck company or else towing my car all the was back would be soooo expensive. but anyway once we got that settled and my buddy that was in front of me picked me up we were back on the road towards the mountain in his 07 Fit. we got there 35 minutes too late so we started heading up ourselves.
the drive was nice...not too cold not to hot. We couldn't go fast and enjoy the turns though because the roads were wet...but the drive was still awesome.
once we got there we joined up the rest of the crew at the restaurant and had lunch...then of course we did what we went up there to do....talk cars!
our home made intake pipe fell off so we had to take care of that before we lost it on the road lol
after the meet at the restaurant some of us wanted to go up higher
(we're in the fit)
it got REALLY FOGGY after a while
then we started playing in the snow
i have some vids too but ill upload them later
then we went back to take more pics of the cars. there's a cool as **** tunnel there but it was sooo fogged up and dark we couldnt take pics
after everyone left and we started to drive back down we mountain we stopped at a few places to take some pics

over all it was a great day the weather was crappy but since its snow and we're socal-ians we made it awesome hahahahahah
i just wish my 7th gen wouldnt have crapped out on me. oh well...
im thinking of making this a monthly thing. D-series guys are down so wondering what you guys think. we DO need to make it bigger though so lets invite more honda guys! make it a huge honda meet!

Ah cool. That's a lot of pictures. Looks like fun. I would meet up with you if I still lived in Socal. Sounds like a good time.

hell yeah dude. the restaurant at top of the hill was freaking awesome. since it was freaking cold i had a nice soup and beer...
if you're ever down here you should hit one of us up so we can roll up there for at least a drive and photoshoot

hah yeah it was a good run. hmmm and btw some of those pix of the fit looked like it was in drift action. LOL good shots and soup was awesome

yeah it was ACH. the pictures after the restaurant was waaay up in the mountain by the tunnels. we originally went up there to take pics in the tunnels but it was sooo foggy and dark we just couldnt.

nice pics but man driving a civic up the mountain isnt my idea of fun lol. you guys mustve been in 2 or 3rd gear the whole time.
