Rep Power: 0 Rear stabilizer bar
After months of strut problems and spring replacements Honda are telling me that I should have a rear stabilizer bar fitted which I thought my car had, but apparently hasn't. They told me this would make my car sit and feel better on the road.
Would fitting a rear stabilizer bar really keep the car stable and give a better ride or is Honda just bull sh ...........ing again?

Rep Power: 0 A thicker bar will not fix the issue of a defective strut. It WILL make your car more stable somewhat but if your car is on bad struts, the suspension is depending more on the springs. Struts keep the car from rebounding off the springs harshly and constantly so it won't "bounce" or bottom out. A thicker bar just reduces spring compression so the car won't "roll" when turning. It cannot do the job struts do when it comes to having a comfortable and less bouncy ride.
Go to a different Honda dealer or buy Koni yellows.
