Help With Ground Control Coil Overs....What is this called?


What is that thing called that the spring sits inside? is it a perch? or something? and i want to lower my car more, is there anything i should know about cutting this piece of...many people told me they have!

The perch, but I don't know if you can cut it.

I heard someone say u need to cut it if u have ground controls but I dont think mine are cut or maybe they are??

you don't have to cut it.. they just recommed you do. it makes them easier to adjust. if you're just gonna drop your car like 2.5" (more than enough), then you don't need to cut it.

HELP!
I cut mine with a Di-Grinder and a recipricator saw. (sp?)
Just put the ground-control on and see where it sits then cut about an inch or so above that.

u dont have to cut them, but by cutting the lower spring perch it easier to adjust the ride height, but my cutting them u can puting any springs on, if u decide to go with springs, some say u can use a hacksaw to cut the lower spring perch but u know it going to take a while
