cuz if i get tein ss, cost 1060. then add that camber kit, alignment, and plus installation. total cost around 1300+.
if I get tein basic, i can save that $200 for the installation...I'm in tight budget for lowering ~ poor college student.
also, i just want lower look, cuz stock like suv type. that's why i considering getting Basic.

you can stilll save 200 bucks for installation if you get tein ss as well.
i understand. though 1000bucks isnt small cash. i had problems and thoughts before i bought my tein ss.
tein basic is still pimp
go for it.

when it comes to true coilovers, pictures dont tell you ****...
"also, i just want lower look, cuz stock like suv type. that's why i considering getting Basic"
i'm almost positive that the basic and ss will lower the same amount. wouldnt be surprised if they even used the same exact spring.

i know man, "pic dont tell you ****" cuz true coilover can lower whateva you want. but i'm telling is that basic can have SS look without spend that 200 more for damping setting. cuz i know some of pep's dont wanna spend that extra for damper setting.
i bet tein ss and basic used same spring rate.

Yeah you really cant tell from two pictures which one is better but the Basic looks pretty damn good. And some of us dont want the damper. We dont need that adjustment option to make us feel all cozy. That extra two hundred bucks makes us feel cozy.
Some info that might provide some support to the comments in this thread:
To Terry:
In regards to your question. All of our dampers are designed with gas
charges and not hydraulic base. The Super Street kit and the Basic kit are
both designed with the same valuing and spring rates and both of the design
are identical so therefore the drop are identical.
