Do It Yourself Spring Install - Detailed Info & Pics
Thanks for the Help. My buddy helped me install my springs this weekend, it went real smooth. Tookabout 2.5hrs. start to finish with impact gun and all proper tools. He's a mechanic and was very impressed with your instructions.
Props.

Great DIY man, but one question. I did all of those same steps but when I took that bolt out from the bottom of my rear ones, the whole assembly popped straight down, I'm assuming from the spring. It kinda wedged itself and I didnt know how to get it out. Is that normal? And how do I handle it?

i searched the thread and didn't see that anyone had posted it, but you can get spring compressors for FREE from Auto Zone. you pay a deposit and get it back fully when you return them. maybe this could be added to the first page so people don't chance getting hurt taking these apart.
Fawking Awesome!
I just found this little gem because it's been a while since I have messed with the suspension on my car and needed a little refresher! Got all my tools and ready to tear it up tomorrow. Thanks to the Original Poster and anyone who gave good advice!

i have coil over sleeves as well, but it came with all these parts and i dont know where they go. Theres a bunch of rubber rings, wider rubber rings, and little screws, if anyone could help me as to where these things go it would be great.
