Old news. They said sometime in the early summer in November(when I was researching for my coils). You gotta love the imported mags. Techniquely it is like the NEX setup, minus the pillowballs.

I saw that ad in SCC and I thought "DAMN! I just bought the SS!"
but if it doesn't have adjustability, then I think I'll keep the SS.

$400 just to have damper adjustability, i think i'll go with the basic.. i cant adjust my stock suspension and i'm fine with that so . but then again i heard its one of those things where once you have it(damper adjustability), you cant live without it type deals.

Yes, we are coming out with the Basic Damper for the 01+ Civics. It will be
ride height adjustable (no damping settings) coilover system that includes
the struts and spring. This is our daily driver application and will be
retailing for $990 (U.S.).
The maximum drop you can achieve is -2.7 in. for the front and -3.8 in.
for the rear. It comes with a spring rate of 6 kgf/mm for the front and 8
kgf/mm for the rear. These dampers have a shorter shell case then your OEM
suspension (but with a larder diameter to hold more oil and gas) to provide
more bump stroke, thus giving a better ride quality.
