ok guys, i have to find out where to get them or better yet, who makes them. anyways i want to get air struts over getting airbags.
if anybody could help me out it would be great. even though i am a newbie on this site, i am known by lots of people around the FL area, and finally got onto the site. i got some pics of the car if you look for the name, and i am making a complete show car. and im doing it all myself. no one touches it. i just need to get some air struts for it. anyways thanks.

you can check out universal airsuspension.com they have stuff there, airlift and chasis teck to name a few, but let me ask you a question how low do you want to go, i have been investigating on the airstrut, its a direct bolt on but it doesnt seem to have the drop that i want compared to the cylinders, take a look at some of the rides on here witch has the airstrut and you see what i mean, but goodluck with your project

Maybe i missed something....what are the air struts for? You can find struts at any autoparts store.
Even Kregen and Pep boys carries them. Search the web for some site that sell struts or even search other threads
You'd be suprised at how much info is out there in previous posts.

civic air ride KIT
hey what they say is if you get airbags your ride will ride lik a caddy, but if you get cylyinders, ride like crap, you can make it ride decent with the air accumallater or something like that , by the way i heard but not experiance bad stuff about the hack shack, like missing parts , and sending wrong parts,, i would check the federal business bureau on any company to see if they have a bad reputation, i know aim indussty does out in arizon, which is another place to buy airstrut, but anyways as for racing with them and taking nice corners i couldnt tell you cause i dont know of anyone who has done it

it doesnt matter what you get cylinders or bags the ride will be the same....you cant put bags on the civic...because it macphereson on the front and it wont work...there are only a couple of cylinders that are GOOD that will work...stay away from any of the rick racer cylinders BE WARE...they suck...Also you'll need compressor tank and valves obviously....you may want to run 1/2 inch line to get faster lift...check out my buddies website... Choice Customs
i know that air cylyinders ride like crap i have a friend who bag a whole lot of trucks, which i personaly driven two of them and they ride like a dream, i dont know if the bags will ride the same as for cars, too bad my friends not in business anymore and living in cali, lucky dude, as for cylinders if you get the accumalator then you should have a decent ride, so they say, but as for bags like i said i would think it would ride good, but wh knows cars are different then trucks then im used too, but u should have the same affect, depending on how much psi you put in your bag, obviously if u let the air out it would suck you would have to fool around with the air to see what is right for you.
I got my kit from (m.i.c.) Master Image Customs there pretty good and there prices are not bad. http://www.masterimagecustoms.com/index2.html
I went with air cylinders 2 tanks & 2 compresiors All 1/2 in. lines but i didnt install it yet

ya the front you cant run straight bags cause of how our suspension is. you can use strut bags tho.
the rear, hack shack uses bags over strut. they are soon replacing them with air cylinders all around tho.
there are alot of companies that are making kits for our cars now, check the air suspension thread. i know its long but theres about 5 companies mentioned...
oh and if you want spanky's selling his hack shack setup for 1500. from what i remember it was cylinders in the front, bags in the rear(you can swap them out for free when hack shack releases the cylinders for the rear), 1/2 lines, 2 3 gallon chrome tanks, 4 valves, 100% duty compressor, retails for around 2500.
