help with springs selection.

i was looking to lower my car real soon here. and i was looking for some springs that didnt lower it alot(more then 2 inchs)because of my drive way. i want to be able to get up the driveway if i deside to get a kit. so i am looking at these two here. i would like a smooth ride.. i have a 2 door EX and i have 17's

Eibach Sportline--1.40 (F)/1.40 (R)
or
Goldline 2 Door--1.75 (F)/1.75 (R)

and i was looking to replace the shocks and i hear that the only ones out are the konis. will this help to improve the ride? or getting springs for a 4 door? i read that sometimes the 4door ones look better in the back on a 2 door(i do have a system.. but its a small one..)

also if i install these will any mods. done not allow me to go back to stock(like cuting that bumbstop??)

eh, eibach is more of a 1.6/1.7" drop... and reason why people say sedan springs look better is cause of goldline.. alot of people werent happy with the coupe springs on their coupes cause the back would sit real low. so what they would do is get the sedan springs and it would even out the gap. its just the way goldline designed their springs... they released a new coupe spring but i heard those were a lil too high in the rear...
have you tried looking into neuspeeds? neuspeed sports is about 1.75" and race 2.25". it would be wise to decide if you want a kit or not when you drop the car. i personally think a 1.75" drop would be fine with a kit but 2.25" might be a lil too low. but then again 1.75" without a kit is way too high and 2.25" would be perfect.
n yes getting shocks will help improve the ride.. alot of people with konis love the ride
no, installing springs wont prevent you from going back to stock. cutting the bumpstops will only give you more shock travel, its not going to effect anything else. only way someone would know you cut them was if they were to take the suspension apart

I put the H&R sport's with Koni's on my Civic. I think the drop was perfect, not too low but you can still tell that it was dropped. You can check it out here.

666, can we get some pics of your ride on solid ground. like on a street or something, cause i kno the grass ephasizes on your lowering. i would like to see a pic of your ride from the side on the street. i am seriously considering H&R springs and plan to purchase within the next month. so, your pics will help me out in my decision. thanks man!
