what should i use to smoothen the coils....... so that they would be adjust smoothy

o ic.... but i was just wondering if they sit their for pretty long and have not adjust them what should i use... WD40 ? is that a good idea? let me know

Yeah, that's what I would do. Spray some WD-40 on the threads and wide up some dirt and grime. Then spray some more on. As long as the threads are clean you should be able to adjust it with little force...
