adjusting ground controls

Ok I have had these for a while but never adjusted the front springs. The back are easy but the front are hard to reach.
Just wondering if anyone has any secrets to doing this. Thanks for any help.

i'm assuming your jacking up the car and taking off the wheel first.. if you arent thats what you should do...
if your are, then thats why they recommend you cut the front lower perch, so that you can adjust it easier..

I just put on my Ground Controls this weekend and I guess since mine is only dropped around two inches it is easier for me to reach the retaining screw.. I had no problem adjusting mine with the tire still on and that is because I didnt cut the perch off..

uhm.. for the guy above.. how is it easier to adjust the ground controls when you havnt cut the perch off?
you cut the perch off so that it wont get in the way and it's easier to adjust.

Vnlilman - You misunderstood me I meant to me it was pretty easy to adjust the struts eventhough I didnt cut the perch's off. But I could see how much easier it would be if I had but I think they will be ok the way they are for me anyway...

my badd... ya thats what i thought you meant to say but the wording threw me off "I had no problem adjusting mine with the tire still on and that is because I didnt cut the perch off.. "

ya i have no idea how they expect you to cut the perch.. cutting metal doesnt sound too easy to me... especially when your cutting in a circle and not straight..
