Tein or B+G?

which coilover setup would you get...the tein ss or the B+G's? and why? i need to know quickly, so any replies are greatly appreciated, thank you in advance. or if there are any other true coilovers i could go with, would you get those instead?

i think teins are better .. i've heard a lot of rumors from the B & G coilovers .. i haven't had any problems with my teins .. !! if u can get tein type flex .. that would be better than both .. !! you can also add an EDFC on it .. so its worth all u'r investments .. !!

i think this has been covered before.. untill i find it i'll keep it open..
i personally would go with b&g mainly cause teins dont drop low enough for me.
tein: dont drop low, adjustable damper
b&g: drop low enough, has a "self-adjusting" damper
i know you cant adjust the b&gs damper but i cant adjust my stock ones either and i'm fine with that just as long as i could slam that bitch..

with the b&g's would i still get an aggressive ride, would i be able to take corners harder in the teins or what?

i dont know the spring rates for either but i would guess the teins are softer since its such a mild drop and are meant for the street.
but ya i would have to guess b&gs are stiffer.

I have B&Gs and the handeling is awesome, even w/ the stock wheel/tire combo.

I can't really say which is better, since I haven't tried or ridden in a car with the TEINs. All I can really say is that I'm very impressed with the cornering abilities of my B&G equipped sedan.

Most people here don't do the sort of racing that requires a finly tuned suspension. Those that do, are far and few between.
Basically any spring with a higher spring rate then stock will handle better. With out testing and tuning on a track, it would be impossible to say which suspension set up handles the best. So, Take FREE advice at face value.

I finally got the B+G's installed on my car. I have it dropped about 2.25-2.5 inches. The ride is incredible, I have never been so happy about a mod on my car. I just wanted to say thanks to all those who helped and if anyone has any questions about them, just ask on here or PM me...thanks again.

ahhh, F' B&G's (hehe, i have to be counter to Mex), Teins rock so much a**. If you dont want a hella drop, get em, i love mine and the drop is perfect, not too low but low enough. And the handling with other suspension mods is awesome...I hope sometime I can do some AutoX ing to really see how well they do.

well I already got the B+Gs on now so can't get Teins. But yeah, the reason I went for B+G is because the Tein's just dont drop low enough for me. I've heard nothing but great things about them though.

Tein will let you custom order your spring rates when you purchase the coils. I know they do it directly, so ask your wholesaler or shop. With the stock shock(the ones that come with the Flex's) you can get up to 16k in the front and 20k in the rear and still have a comfortable(stable) ride. They come with 8k front and 10k rear in the normal kit.

If I'm planning on getting 18" wheels in the future what is the better one to get if I want to drop it a little but so it doesn't hit the fender? ALso are these complete setups or does there still need things to be done to the suspension for a smooth ride? Thanks

either one will do for you..
both need the upper mounts from the stock suspension, other then that it comes with both spring/shock. depending on the drop your also going to need a rear camber kit.
