<-- Complete n00b when it comes to suspension
Anyways, what to strut bars do? Does it enhance suspension with stock springs (i.e. w/o lowering)?

according to the people that produce em, they stiffen up the chassis. in real life however, the gains are in your head.

Well, I felt the change right away when I installed my Neuspeed bar. I was feeling a lot of understeering causing front body flex when I got the RSX-S sway bar installed, and the front strut bar fixed that problem. Of course, I also have Koni's and Eibach Sportline, so I assume that these bars will only be noticeable with the shocks and springs, as I've heard ppl with just springs say the bars don't deliver for them.

As for this Spoon one, I am a bit doubtful that it will fit intakes. From the pic it looks like the same design as the Tenzo R one, which is just a thick bar across, and will not fix an intake. The picture isn't even our car, the D17 engine bay is so small that a strut bar that fits over an intake will have to be mighty close to the hood... Also, the fact the it's listed as CIVIC 02+ and not CIVIC 01+ might as well mean this is for a Si hatch and not for our cars. Whoever buys might want to check it out with the source (manufacturer if you have to) before investing.

I am gonna back Msoft up. I have both strut bars and a rear sway bar. Man is there a big difference. I even drove a '03 sedan a few weekends ago and it was all mushy compared to my car. I can't wait to get the Progress front sway bar and a cross/u brace!!

"They will fit the coupe and sedan. They will so fit the si, although we do not recommend that you use them, as they are made for the coupe/sedan. Although they will fit, they come very close to the reservoirs, and may possibly rub through them after repeated usage. Spoon will be releasing a specific application for the Si in a few weeks"
