Getting noises from lowering

I just installed the Eibach Pro Kit and I'm getting a funny noise from my front right. It sounds as if the spring wasn't long enough and it's bouncing around in there. I know that it's not cause I jacked my car back up and took a look at it and everything was as it should be (or so I think). Nothing was loose and all the bolts are tightend. It only makes the sound when the spring is being compressed or decompressed. If I were to drive on a completely flat road, it would make no noise at all. Has anyone had a problem like this or any suggestions on what may be causing it? Any comments are greatly appreciated, thanks!

Mine does that to, except it is on the front driver side spring. I have sprint sprints. It always happens then goes away and comes back.

when your going over badd/bumpy road it sounds like rattling huh(metal hitting metal).. you probably didnt install the "spring isolator". there should have been this rubber tubing around your stock springs(mine didnt come with it), you were supposed to take that out and put it on your eibachs... that should get rid of most noises... also try to tighten the one middle bolt that connects the whole strut assembly together.. its found in the middle of each of the three nuts under the hood

I don't remember the stock springs coming with that rubber tubing but my eibachs came with some rubber thing wrapped around them. I'll try tightening that middle bolt and see if it helps. Thanks for the responses!

is the rubber tube wrapped around the bottom of the spring? it should be in between the spring and the bottom perch(where the spring sits)

Ummm... it was wrapped near one end of the spring. Not all the way to the end of the spring, but maybe a coil away from it. I think it is wrapped near the top, towards the strut tower brace but I could be wrong. I'll have to go check on it.

Hey VNlilMAN, I went outside and checked those bolts on the top of my strut towers. It was loose. You were right. I tightened it and drove it around and now it doesn't make any noise at all. Thanks for the advice!

im haveing the same problem. I hear a slight clicking noise when i go over bumps but it rides smooth when its just on a normal road. But i just got these yesterday and their brand new and im guessing the springs are just settling. Am i right?

it might be... when my springs were settling, it made a 'ping' noise everytime i got in the car... i'm thinking its the bolt, the spring isolator or the top perch tho.. any noise is usually associated with one or more of those things

I had the same problem...I took my car into my shop and took the air gun to the bolt that tightens down on the strut tower...torqued it a bit and voila, no more noise.

I just went back to the shop today to get it checked and the guy said this is normal and he put some rubber thingy in the shocks and the noises are gone . Im not sure it seems like the threads of the tires wear near inside the wheel than out.
