oh, I was under the impression you were going to return it to stock height too. I certainly don't regret it, but then again I have coilovers so i can raise it as needed. i have it lowered 2.5" all around

No, I don't regret it. The suspension makes noise and I need new shocks/struts but I love the car being lowered.
Don't be fooled by some of the ignorant on the site. YOu WILL need camber kits for the rear at least and new struts/shocks.
It's not just a matter of springs. To do it right you need the springs, camber kits, and struts/shocks.

hahaha... oh... lower it!!
it looks a LOT better.. plus you can turn and corner without too much body roll so the car stays on the ground...
only problem with lowering is you have to buy a couple component things like camber kit and new shocks...

I would say go with goldlines, same springs, less money. 1.75" all around....great company for cust. svc. Some people say that you don't have to get camber kits right away, but if you don't want to chance it, get em anyways. Shocks/struts can wait till the oem's blow. I think I've paid 300 for my drop shipped, thats springs, front and rear cambers, I am getting a front strut bar soon as well some koni's prolly around spring time. So total, I'm thinking less than a grand, not too bad compared to what some people spend on coilovers, then again they can adjust ride height...matter of preference I guess.
definately need a camber kit in the back. i have about a finger gap all around but only got a camber kit for the front so far. don't ask me why i didn't just get the whole thing. i figure i'll wait til my firestones go and i get some new rims and tires to fix that. but i luv my skunk2 koni setup. with the exception of a little noise, the ride is good and makes the car look really nice.

Well, not enough that you could notice anyway.
well my suspension is pretty extensive. i got ground control coilovers, a full camber kit, koni yellows, skunk 2 lower tie bar. the feel of the car is 150 percent better than stock. but do a camber kit for sure, the back gets really negative really quick. its an easy install (1hr from the time UPS handed me the box till the car was on the road...rear only). just dont think you can lower and be done with it, it can get expensive (with my wheels and tires im approaching 3 grand)
I think if you lower your car PROPERLY and get all the additional/necessary equipment to go with it your drop want be a pain in the a$$. alot of people drop it and don't buy a camber kit, don't get there car aligned, don't rotate their wheels and then they say man I never should have dropped my car, or you should have just went the extra distance and made sure you did all the other things too!!

i regret not getting one. i have a 2k1 and im still waiting for some more money to come in. i plan to get the h&r cup kit in july/august.
I absolutely DO NOT regret lowering my car!! Mine is lowered on H&R sport springs and I have a camber kit in the front...I went through a lot of trouble to get everything perfect (we installed the springs on the front and didn't allign the arrows so it made sounds when I would turn my wheels) now everything is perfect and I would not go back! This is how a car should look STOCK IMO!! Mine is only lowered about 1.5" so I don't have problems scraping, I just have to watch out for my aftermarket exhaust (the hangers to be exact) I'm getting a kit next month and I'm excited to see what it will all look like
Good luck lowering yours!

The only regret I had was only dropping it an inch with Eibach Prokit. Now I am going lower with the Goldlines. I currently have stock springs on and the ride quality doesn't seem any better. I think the biggest difference you would have in ride quality is when you go with bigger wheels and and low pro tires.
ok i want to lower my car 1.5 inch or 1.75 in alll around. do the neuspeed race springs (1.75 in front and 1.5 in the back) look amazing? also with that, would i need koni shocks, camber kit, struts, or all the above? any prices on these things? thanx

look and performance. NO regret.
