Sway bar ???

I've been reading thorugh the forum about converting civic sway bars into RSXs'. Just wondering if you keeped you front sway bar stock and changed the rear into Progess or RSX? Will it matter is I just cahnge the rear end? My current suspension is only H&R springs and front tower srut bar???
Thanks

There are big advantages to having a larger/stronger Rear AntiSway bar on you Front wheel drive car. Mostly it deals with weight transfer when you turn. Basically, Weight moves from the inside to the out side (inside = side closest to the apex of the corner) while cornering. This weight doesn’t shift evenly across the car; more may be transferred to the front or the back. Typically a front wheel drive car will naturally apply more weight to the front. The side of the car Front or back that has more weight applied to it will have less traction. This is why Front wheel drive cars “push” or understeer through a turn. If an Antisway bar is stiffened/ made stronger at one end of the car like the rear, that end will get more of the weight transferred to it. So by putting larger bar on the rear, the car will be forced to apply more of the weight of the car to the back and less to the front, giving the front tires more traction and maybe letting the rears Slide a little.

Basically, Keep the front stock and upsize the rear to minimize understeer!
