That looks like a good setup. So what is all the Pieces I need to install Tiens??
1. Tiens
2. Ingalls Camber Kit
3. Oem Bearings
4. Rubber Washers

Is this everything i need??? Do I need the Oem Bearings and Rubber Washers or was that stuff just taken off and not re installed on your car?

Can I do this myself? Do the Tiens come with instructions? Or do i need something special for the struts and such?
That's about it! I'll scan instrutions tomorrow!

So do you think it was worth the money you paid? How much different is it than your other coilovers you had? BTW what kind of coilovers did you have before?

Funny you ask. Yes I think it's worth the money. Compared to my last coil-overs really really bouncy and gives you a rough ride. Also when I hit pot holes it car makes a "bam!" sound, coil-overs was a brand x. Not Ground Controls', nor Skunk2. Just plain ol' brand x.

How are they after they have settled. are they tucked? Dang, all I know is that if I had the B&G on the lowest setting with 40 series tires, my rim would tuck. I understand the settling part, so would like to see how low they are now after a couple of days. nice setup though.

LoL, I know what you mean! Seriously before I got my Tiens' it was like a boat and whenever I turn it would make a clanking/squeaking sound... Sounds like a boat rocking in the ocean! LoL. I'm just glad that finally over!

News on the coil-overs, so far so good, ride has been great. So stupid me I hit a speedbump going 10mph coz I didn't see that and now my exhaust pipe vibrates under my car. I gotta get that checked... ARGH!!! Other than that, no problems here, just need to re-align my passenger's rear wheel, it's off, I thought it was straight.

So yeah, thanks!

Btw, goodluck on yours'! Enjoy!
I'm guessing the missing parts with the Honda labels on them are the upper strut mounts for both front and rear? For my B&Gs, I bought new front ones and reused the rear ones. Is it standard practice for full coilovers to come without upper strut mounts?
Tien Type Flex replaces the OEM upper strut (pillow) mounts. It comes with it, just the front. But comparing Tien Type Flex and Tien Type SS. It's not that big of a difference. I say Type SS is the wway to go, affordable and ryde is just nyce.
The difference between them are the adjustable pillowball mounts, and the perch adjustments. You can go lower with the Flex and the spring rate is stiffer which also mean the shocks settings will be stiffer. For the price of the pillowball mounts(the effortless, pinpoint steering, and feel), you are better off paying the $200 extra for the Flex. I should be getting mine in at the end of the month. My friend got screwed at the shop he orders from and there is a strike at the docks. Go figure.

From the looks of the picture the car cannot go that much lower, but take in mind he has smaller diameter tires. I think he has 205/40/17 instead of the stock 215/45/17 size. That is why he has a gap and the Tein are made to handle at the optimum level at the height they specify. You think your car handles well, wait until you get strut bars all around and a roll cage. Then you will be able to feel the power around the turns. The tires will also have something to do with it. TEIN!!! why do I have to wait longer?

If you go to there website they give you the specs on how low they set the cars to and develope the coils for. The Flex are designed to ride about and inch lower than the SS.

so aZnVoYCedo do you think the TEIN SS are a good investment, also i read you where missing some parts i am just wondering what parts they were

also is there any noise's from the coil-overs, some people say that coil-overs are very noisey, so is the ride as good, worse or better than stock, would you be comfortable going on a long trip with the TEIN's

from 1 to 10 where would you rate the ride comfort (1 being worse and 10 being best)

thanks later

The noise are usually from the sleeve coils and them sliding and twisting with the from strut. The ride comfort you can control with the adjustable dampening.

Here is a link to the pdf file for the coils: Teins for our car

I don't get any noise... I think you need the front bearings and rear rubber washers. Hmmm, well those were my OEM missing parts which I originally had because of the ***** who lost them at another shop... Anyway, compared to my old coil-overs I would rate my Tien a 10!
