ride height

wondering if anyone could work this out for me. I was looking at 01incapearl's car and It has the oem package like me and he has the neuspeed sport springs
which I want to get but he has 17's and I have 16's I want to know if I put 215 50 16 rubber which is equal to that of stock would it be as low as his or higher
than his and by how much. He has 215/40/17 also wondering if 205/45/16 is to small and will through my cars spedomotor off I cant see the bottom were
it tells u to fast or slow if it is to fast then I will have to sell my tires and buy the 215/50/16.

I just don't understand why people thing their rim size has anything to do with ride height, if they kept their tires the right size.

corupt tnu2,, the overall diameter of the wheel and tire is important, here is the method to help u with the decision...[to get inches from mm,mm multiply by 0.4 to get mm,mm divid by0.4] if the distance on a sidewall is greater than the gap ,it will make the car look lower but if u change to a bigger rim,the side wall has to be shorter to compensate for the overall diameter of the tire, then the car will look like its been jacked up even its the same size if tats what u want,u have to lower ur car even more to get the low effect.

205/45 17's is perfect. keeps the factory diameter at the wheels so your speed and odo won't be off.
