here is an e-mail i got from tein today

The SS Damper for the 2001+ Honda Civic (all models) will be released next
week. They retail for $1250 and are ride height adjustable with 16 levels of

I hope it's compatible with the electronic damper control, it's easier to adjust damping force from inside your car and i think it gives you more damping power levels.............
if i can pick up the ones that have the pillowmounts and the helper springs for that price.. should i? i mean since that is retail.. i would be expecting... 1000? is the extra 300 worth it?

actually, you wont be able to pick those up for quite some time........
Tein said they don't have them made yet......and they're not even working on them.

well i'm in taiwan.. and the HA-FT's are almost sure to fit.. we had a couple of guys look at them here and they said it should fit w/o a prob.. but i'm still a little leery on that.. there are a lot of peopl ethat have them here.. and they are sweet.. but there's only one way to find out right..
