anyone else have this problem?

I drive a 2 door 2001 ex civic and i recently bought sprint performance springs for it and got them put on "professionally". The problem is that the back end of my car slouches a little lower than the front, and its enough of a difference to be noticeable. A lot of people that see my car think i cut the springs or heated them up because the car doesnt sit evenly. Did anyone else have this problem with their lowering springs, and does anyone know what the cause/solution is? Thanks to anyone who helps me out.

It's your strut. The back is sagging on those springs. You'll either need to get new springs (other makes, not sure what type will not sag) or get Koni shocks.

BTW, I remember someone asking what kind of springs have even front and back, my Sportlines do. With Koni's installed, the front and back are quite even... The back is the very slightest higher (less than half an inch, I'll measure it next I'm washing the car or smthg) but not as much as I've seen.

couple reasons/solutions... the old sprint springs had this problem... they came out with a new one that fixed this... either that or they didn't install it right... its most likely you got the old springs tho.
solution: 1) get different springs. 2) put a "spacer" in the rear like familyguy has. 3) if the front has dead coils, cut one of them off. all three require you to do the installation over again tho...

Its probably that big box in the trunk. I have 17's on my coupe and i have about a 1 1/2 finger gap in the front and a 2 finger gap in the back.

Neuspeed sports on my sedan. Perfectly even drop the whole way around. I have just over a finger gap at each corner. Great springs....

I just had Intrax Springs put on my car with a 2" front drop and 1.8" drop in the rear and here is what I ended up with...

It is a little uneven, I think. The back looks like it is sagging. What do you think?

Agreed. There must be a reason Eibach decided to do less drop on the 01 Civics. Traditional Pro - 1.4", 01 Civic - 1". Traditional Sportline - 2.0", 01 Civic - 1". Wheras all the other brands just went with their standard drops.

sorry i would have to disagree. eibach springs are only designed for the coupe, meaning the back will be lower then the front on a sedan.
i think neuspeed and goldlines are just as good or even better then eibachs... they are also $50 cheaper. both neuspeed and goldline have recognized that there are people with sedans that want to lower their cars. so they have made a kit for both 2 door and 4 door since the 4 door is heavier in the back...
